Surf Wax That Handles the Heat
Warm-water surfers know the problem. A wax that feels good at the start of the session can turn into a mess of melted wax, once the board has been sitting in the sun for a few minutes.
Gecko Glue is made to give your feet something to hold onto without needing to re-wax every five minutes.
Use Basecoat first for a solid foundation, then choose Warm or Tropical depending on the water temperature.
Choose Your Gecko Glue
Different water temperatures need different wax. Start with a good basecoat, then use the wax that suits the conditions.
Tropical Wax
For hot water and serious tropical conditions. Best for 24°C and above.
Warm Wax
A stickier option for warm water around 20–24°C. Good when you want a slightly softer stickier feel under your feet.
Basecoat Wax
The first layer. Builds the bumps and gives your top coat something to grip onto.
How to Use It
A good wax job is simple, but it makes a big difference. Don’t just rub a tiny bit in the areas where your feet go.
Apply a firm base layer first. This gives the wax pattern some shape and helps the top coat last longer.
Choose the top coat that suits the water temperature and rub it over the base until you get a good beaded grip.
Add a light top-up before your next surf, especially if the board has been sitting in the sun.
