Gecko Glue started as a small wax maker for surfers who were finding it difficult to get the right wax for Phuket. We wanted a surf wax that could handle places like Phuket, Indo, Sri Lanka, Australia and anywhere else the water is warm.
The idea was simple: make a surf wax with superior grip and stays on your surfboard.
No imported hype. No miracle claims. Just sticky surf wax for warm-water surfers.

We are not a giant corporate wax machine. Gecko Glue is made in smaller batches with real surfers in mind.

Despite the name, no geckos are squeezed, grated, blended or emotionally troubled in the making of our wax.
Which Gecko Glue Should You Use?
Different water temperatures need different wax. For the best result, start with Basecoat, then add the right top coat for the water temperature.
Basecoat
Use this first. It gives your top coat something to grip onto and helps build a better wax pattern.
Tropical
Best for 24°C+ / 75°F+ water. Good for tropical surf trips and hot conditions.
Warm
Best for 20–24°C / 68–75°F water. A softer, stickier feel for warm-water sessions.

What makes Gecko Glue different?
Gecko Glue is made for warm-water surfing. It is designed to grip well and hold up better in tropical conditions where some waxes can get too soft or too hard becoming slippery.
Does Gecko Glue really come from geckos?
Well, there is a very complicated scientific answer to that. But the simple version is no. We make the wax ourselves. The geckos just handle branding and quality control.
Which wax should I use?
- Basecoat: use first as the foundation layer.
- Tropical: for 24°C+ / 75°F+ water.
- Warm: for 20–24°C / 68–75°F water.
